My name is Lauren Bahnatka, I am an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer and a Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer. Within the next year I plan on becoming Olympic Lift Certified, along with a certification in nutrition.
I have been a competitive distance runner since the age of 15 when I got my first pair of running shoes for Christmas, and I have been doing CrossFit since January of 2008. I competed in the 2008 CrossFit Games in Aromas, California.
I reside in West Chester where I am a personal trainer at the West Chester Area YMCA, and I am also a trainer at CrossFit Delaware Valley, Folsom, PA. In between my time spent at either gym, I am a part-time barista at a coffee shop and a first grade CCD teacher.
I am obsessed with CrossFit, running, and the Zone Diet. I get excited to share what I know about it with others. My favorite part about being a trainer is seeing dedicated people get stronger, fitter, faster, and leaner: a true lifestyle change that keeps them hungry for more! Then, in turn, they pass their excitement along to their friends, and the enthusiasm snowballs from there.
If you are willing to put in the work, and want a no-nonsense, intense, truly life-changing routine to get in to, I suggest reading about CrossFit, exploring my web site and its posted workouts, and making the commitment to a better you. I believe the method I use is hands-down the best way to get into the best shape of your life. Give it a try!
